A mother has written to DR Health, she is brought up with that too much sugar causes diabetes. She is now nervous about giving his own child too much sugar.

There are two types of diabetes, type 1 and type 2

To prevent diabetes, make sure that both you and your child, maintaining normal weight and follow a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise and diet too.
